{"content":"📢 Ethereum Makes History — Chinese Firm Launches Nation’s First RWA Bond On-Chain China has entered blockchain-based finance without using cryptocurrencies. Shenzhen's state-owned enterprise announced an Ethereum-based digital bond offering, highlighting how the government is adopting new technologies while maintaining its anti-crypto trading position. First State-Backed Ethereum RWA Bond Futian Investment Holding issued 500 million yuan offshore bonds on August 29, media said. Hong Kong issued approximately $70 million in Ethereum-listed bonds. The 2.62% yearly interest rate expires after two years. The business said the acquisition was part of an attempt to extend its financing sources and adapt to worldwide tokenization and real-world asset usage. It also cited Hong Kong's supporting policies, saying the bond supports the district's digital asset innovation drive. This does not imply China has relaxed its crypto and Ethereum prohibition. Beijing banned crypto mining and trading in 2021. At the time, officials stated the restrictions were required to manage energy usage and prevent financial system instability. That prohibition stands. Consumers and businesses in mainland China cannot use or trade cryptocurrency. Limited experiments like tokenized bonds inside conventional finance are permitted. Beijing may demonstrate its interest in blockchain financing while maintaining its domestic prohibition by routing the transaction via Hong Kong. The busy metro has more space to undertake digital asset ventures, like this bond. China's approach uses blockchain for banking but bans crypto as a market asset. Beijing authorities worry that stablecoins, especially dollar-denominated ones, could weaken other currencies. RWA bonds may be the first state-backed blockchain and Ethereum financial instruments related to Hong Kong, according to reports. The issue illustrates China's careful exploration of blockchain without reopening Bitcoin, stablecoins, or crypto acceptance. #ETH #SaylorBTCPurchase #RWA #ListedCompaniesAltcoinTreasury $ETH ","images":["https://d2kdcqywr8ua22.cloudfront.net/uploadfile/article/blog/2025092025/09/02/8f80ca0468e643fb96a5069f3f4c0946.png"],"tags":[],"tradingPairs":["BTC/USDT"],"quotearticleid":0}
