Cambodia has called for an immediate ceasefire with Thailand after two days of deadly border fighting. At least 16 people have died, and tens of thousands have been displaced.
Cambodia wants a peaceful solution and offered a truce without conditions. Thailand has not responded but declared martial law in eight border districts.
Fighting has spread to 12 locations, with both sides blaming each other. Cambodia accused Thailand of using banned cluster bombs, while Thailand said Cambodia attacked civilian areas.
Global leaders, including ASEAN and the US, have urged peace talks, but Thailand said outside help is not needed. The conflict relates to a long-standing border dispute over a temple.","images":["https://d2kdcqywr8ua22.cloudfront.net/uploadfile/article/blog/2025072025/07/26/9b8de59b24274ab7a9f30d668ac75204.jpg"],"tags":[],"tradingPairs":[],"quotearticleid":0}
